Well… I guess you can read those. I haven't read Enemy of the State. Also House of M will frustrate you as it was basically designed to undo a lot of stuff Morrison did in his run. I think it's fine to just keep reading Whedon's X-Men. House of M is more important if you're reading Bendis's Avengers.
