Oops! All Dragons

Whatever. But damn, how perfect was that Hannah Gadsby impression at the bottom of this article? She totally nailed both her delivery and the overall pretentiousness of Nanette in the span of a minute or so.

This sort of tepid social commentary seems right in The (current) AV Club’s wheelhouse!

From what I’ve heard of her music, I can only assume “sultry and ethereal” is PR speak for “lethargic and heavily medicated”.

This is what passes for “NSFW” these days? A few PG-13 curse words indifferently strewn together and passed off as a hashtag? Well, let’s get it trending... I guess.

There’s something amusingly tone-deaf about running this pointlessly hectoring article just a few days after Hart gets in a major car accident.

Okay great, whatever, just please, for the love of god, don’t ever link to Buzzfeed again.

Welcome to the “Too stupid for satire” era!

The AV Club

Agreed, except for the part about this being a good article. It was mostly just a pile of tweets stacked on top of each other.

“...wanted to be a Rachel, but I’d settle for a Monica, though I’d tell other people I was a Phoebe, when in reality I was a Ross.”

AV Club vs. The Simpsons: who’s got the hackiest, most toothless Trump satire?

I hate Trump as much as the next guy, but definitely not sure what’s “weird” about loving Bloodsport... it’s Van Damme’s best movie. I guess even broken clocks are right twice a day!

Hughes detests Urkel almost as much as Carl Winslow, but to be honest I don’t blame him. There was that time Urkel stumbled comically into the AV Club offices, fired all the good writers, switched the commenting interface to Kinja... and all he had to say for himself was a nasal “DID I DO THAT???”

In the interest of fairness, it’s worth pointing out that it wasn’t Tommy Lee that got arrested for abuse last year at all, but rather Tommie Lee, some loser from a crappy VH1 reality show called Love & Hip Hop.

I can’t wait for this guy’s next article, in which he speculates that the “To be fair you need to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty” copypasta is a storyline from the upcoming season!

Haven’t seen you ‘round these parts in awhile, and yet it’s like you never left. You’re just as much of a self-parody as ever!

This show really went downhill when they started writing dialogue, rather than endless stage directions!

This guy needs more moles before he can truly be deemed worthy of a free sandwich.

Yes, I saw that Hannah Gadsby special too. There was a lengthy, largely joke-free bit about it.
