What you described is basically why the GTI even exists. Its by far the best all arounder for mileage, practicality, and performance. And if you like to modify cars, its one of the best platforms for it. Also its DSG auto is a great auto.

Just makes me happy i got my Alltrack when i did. Purchased in late 2020 for $16500. Its a 2017 SE DSG with 25k miles. now its at 85k and has a few mods like plaid interior, GTI brakes, coilovers, RSB. more mods to come

The plug in hybrid i really want that VW wont sell here is the MK8.5 GTE. Its a GTI with hybrid assist making 268hp and with an electric only range of 62 miles! They also have an MK8.5 Wagon. A completely ideal PHEV for me would be the GTE as a wagon. 60+ miles EV only, 368hp, prob around $40k. please make that and

one of the newish cars i think is a bargain right now is a used Kia EV6. You can get a Kia EV6 GT with 576hp and a 0-60 in 3.4 for $39k with 12k miles on it. What a time to be alive for performance

Im the same way but for the superior Android Auto. CarPlay was so crappy in 2017 that i actually switched from apple to android because of it. Its better not but still not as good as updated android auto

Any sort of performance package that gives you larger brakes and a limited slip differential is always worth the price.  PP on my GTI was something like $1400 for larger performance brakes and an LSD.

The one ill die on is that the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Matrix, and the Scion xB were excellent cars and we need more cars like this. Vibe had amazing practicality, tons of cargo, hard plastic cargo area, manual transmissions, great suspensions making it cheap, reliable, peppy, and a far better choice than almost all small

They should make a modern take on the AC Cobra, and call it the D.C. Cobra. Take the side exhaust and paint them like Duracell batteries.

I think these numbers are in the wrong place on the chart and should be swapped

yeah its got roots in bosozoku im sure

you absolutely can make a small sporty low car that meets the standards. Just look at the GR86 and Miata

The Infiniti Q50. Believe it or not they still sell these NEW in 2024!

and yet this is currently on sale now...

the Mitsuoka Orochi is the dumbest looking car i can think of. Its like sturgeon fish. Even worse when modified

When i had a 2 car garage last i had a base model 2003 Pontiac Vibe with manual everything. Manual trans, manual windows, and locks. And i had a 2000 Honda S2000. The Vibe was puprchased for $5800 with 55k miles, the S2000 for $9900 with 90k miles. So $16k total!

Dang you beat me to it. This is the car i was going to nominate as well. Its an inexpensive car with a classic 90s shape that still turns heads today IMO. There is nothing on the market today that is as cheap and modern looking for its time period.

Without a question the Toyota MR-2. Please someone make a small light mid engine RWD manual car that looks like a modern mini Ferarri. Lotus Emira is close but it would be better being significantly cheaper and more reliable with Toyota making it. There are so many 300+hp small turbo motors out there. thats all it

EVERY convertible with 4 seats is just wrong. Convertibles should be 2 seats with no space behind them. This is the way

The Freaking air intake lid on the GTI. most cars have a clip to remove. Not the GTI. it has 8 screws you have to unscrew but are setup in a way that they dont unscrew all the way but just loosen and stay in place in the shroud. First time you open it you keep twisting thinking the screws ill come out and they dont

This should surprise absolutely no one. His entire platform is based on lies and misinformation. This is why he loves the poorly educated. They can see a meme with the all caps word FACT and will instantly believe it and never fact check anything. They have been tricked into never reading the news and just trusting
