agreed the AP1 was the better design IMO. This just breaks the symetry

The S2000 also has a cool feature on its tach. its not linear. It spreads out as you hit higher RPM so when driving it in the proper range there is a lot of tach movement. My only complaint about digital speedometers is that they just have way too slow of a display update. I want one that shows every mph as i cross…
my current car is a MK7 Alltrack and i do like its simple layout
One thing i like about MK7 GTI is it has a nice simple analog setup
Scion xD had a really cool design for a super cheap car
second would have to be the elegant simplicity of the S2000 and its symmetric controls and AP1 symmetric gauges
My vote is the Lexus IS300. Love the design and its elegance
But in reality the car i own now that id drive to 250k is my Alltrack, that im steadily modifying to be even more fun. reliable enough if taken care of, and lots of fun when modded.
250k miles huh? Well its got to be a wagon, and its got to be fun to drive, and it needs to be reliable. And im doing this to save money so it needs to have a reasonable starting price. So i guess here in the US ill just be taking the bus. Shit, nevermind, we dont have public transportation in Texas guess ill just walk
I test drove one and said no thanks and got the GTI which was quicker with significantly less HP and modded easier
The Focus ST was neither. But the real answer are the stupid heavy muscle cars
Hes got to be a wagon guy. 2Dr wagon with lots of cargo for him
Somehow i picture him driving a white and red Local Motors Rally Fighter
The right sound for this car would have been the Mustang GT350 NA flat plane crank V8 reving to 8500 rpm. How awesome would it have been to just make a slower cheaper version of the Ford GT but with that amazing sound
Personally i wish more cars were turbo charged and that more cars had the most modern turbo advances. Modern turbos are easily modded and fun to alter. Id love a turbo on the miata or the GR-86 so these enthusiast cars can see results when tuning. And as for using modern turbo tech, its something thats about to arrive…
on the topic of the EV GTI
“Leave it with 2 doors and a hatch, please. I’m not trying to take a soccer team to practice,”
The concept is actually 4 dr the rear doors are just well hidden.
the Levorg seems like something to get excited about until you realize its only made with a CVT :(
While i love the 1830lb S660, with its 63hp engine it isnt smoking anything. The old brz weighs 2750lbs and this car has the power to weight of a 98hp BRZ. It wont even smoke a 2011 prius which has 22.7lb/hp and this thing has 29lbs/hp
For me its the Shelby GT350. Naturally aspirated high reving flat plane crank that sounds amazing! But i wouldnt want to have it screaming at the public everywhere i go and im just not a mustang type
