for me it was the 2008 WRX. Back in 2001 when the first WRX made it to the states, it was rally looking with big fog lights and box flare fenders. It made 227hp in a time that Camrys and Accords made 190-200. Fast forward to 2008 and the Camry makes 269, the Altima 260, the Accord 240. And the 2008 WRX releases

you missed the winky smiley face

plan to keep it for a while and finally finish modifying it. Got it Aug 2020 with 25k miles on it for $16500. It now has plaid GTI seats and GTI performance pack brakes, intake, as well as rear sway bar. In the next week or so im finally putting the coilovers on with extra bracing. After that its intercooler and

Adding Lamborghini style lights to a Camaro should be top of this list

The worst is modifying a car significantly to add power when you have a platform that doesnt add power easily and adding power makes the character of the car worse. For instance take the S2000. Its a pretty well maxed out NA engine from the factory and many changes lose power, and adding forced induction alters the

so youre saying this Asians were Crazy rich? someone should make a movie about that

I absolutely would not buy a Ferrari made in China

back when cars were small, low, fun to drive, and didnt weigh 4000lbs

I cant think of anything better than an AP1 S2000 or an FD RX-7

The 2010s were the start of the death of all cars worth owning as an enthusiast and relaced with the white and silver army of small SUVs.

My answer would be to wait a bit for the upcoming GR-86 with the 3cylinder turbo. This will be a great car with easy modding potential. And its for sure going to have to cost less than $50k

I almost bought a turbo it was a blast for the time

for me its the Toyota C-HR. it looks like it would be a fun sporty small CUV. its bold and decently well designed. But its a horribly slow boring car to drive

i miss the days when a flat 4 turbo wagon with AWD and a manual existed. For one year in the US (2005) we had this as a legacy. it still has a great interior too. I also miss the days when subaru took advantage of having a flat 4 and made the hood lower.

For best AWD car ever made im going to go with the attainable one i wish i could buy. One thats relatively light, practical, and affordable. The Golf R wagon. And since we cant get them here in the US im having to settle for a Golf Alltrack, which has many of the same features but a smaller engine. But its not the

Im thinking it would look cool with a black roof wrap like this

Complains about the RS4... shows a picture of an RS3...
I know he said why get an RS3 over an M3, maybe its the $62k vs $76k-$112k starting prices

This is my retrospective choice, but at the time for me it was the bugeye WRX

for me at the time it was the 2002 WRX. I loved the bugeye design and had been drooling over the WRX in europe and unable to purchase one here. It was insane compared to comparably priced sedans at the time and one of my favorite cars to ever own. I loved the box flare fenders and giant fog lights

no its not. Its Toyota’s fault when they went years without making anything desirable to drive and when they continued to reject the EV transition while wasting money on Hydrogen nonsense.  Atleast some of their newest products are going in the right direction but overall they arent
