I dont think they dropped the ball at all. The artura is one of the best looking McLarens and its priced at $225k while the 296 starts at $320k. Sure the 296 is a little faster 0-124 in 7.3 instead of 8.3 but is it $100k+ better? i dont think so at all

friend in Austin has a 2013 tesla still going strong at 280k miles and he got the range reported for the car and still has 88% range at 280k miles

And hopefully this will also mean that they will produce cars with the same range and 1/3 less battery size meaning 1/3 less in production cost of the most expensive part and 1/3 less battery weight resulting in a cheaper car with quicker acceleration and better handling

id much rather have a screen i can operate by touching thats a little lower than one up high that i have to use a dial to operate. its way easier and safer and if you constantly look at the screen youre doing it wrong.
