a statement car LOL

it cracks me up that we are at a point where people are complaining about the horsepower of an SUV that does 0-60 in 4.3, 0-100 in 10.4, and the 1/4 mile in 12.8@109 and saying its too slow

The first generation Vibe/Matrix were such great cars expecially the Vibe GT and Matrix XRS. I owned one and liked it so much ive considered just hunting for a super low mileage one and owning one again

Technology, yes cars are getting faster and more efficient
Form factor NO cars are getting heavier and taller and all turning into SUVs.
Transmissions - mixed, some are getting good autos and dual clutch while many are going backwards with CVTs
Interior - mostly no. Thankfully android auto and carplay are catching on so

I appreciate how they used the King of Chaos for their mascot in this photo op

is the civic a touch screen it looks too far away to be one. my wife has a lexus NX200t and you have to use this dumb mousepad thing to use it

the closest modern car to the Juke is the Toyota C-HR. little and funky and slow.

I dont care for the small dash mounted display. I much prefer a larger lower mounted display thats within reach of touch screen inputs like this. I cant stand not being able to touch the display.

yeah me too, but it was a weird SUV tall wagon.
Their hatch is not a hatch its a fastback.
they may call it a hatch but its not.
this is it not much of a hatch

I really really wish they made a civic wagon. Make a type R wagon or SI wagon. Get more cargo than most med SUVs with all the handling and most of the lightness of a sedan. Their proposed hatch is really a fastback which makes for way less usable room too. Just give the civic a wagon roofline like this please.

99 civic SI was pretty darn anonymous too.  very plain safe design

I really love the design of the black fly shown here in the image. Its such a clever simple and yet obvious solution to the problem .

Plus when flying in it im sure you feel like Boba Fett in Slave One

I really didnt like last generation interior. I though the Golf R was a better design.

causing a notification...forcing you to search for it

haha no

Not interested in this plaid. I already own a GTI with plaid that costs much less ;)

I agree with blockhead

you could go down the center of the car and then up the backs of the rear passengers (but may be not as thick as this drawing). that would expecially work in a sedan. But in a hatch you could also fill the floor below the hatch where the spare tire usually resides. And there is the option for batteries below the seats

is that Loki?

oops mean to say celica GTS
