That would be true if we didn’t have countless negative statements from Trump over the years about non-white people and women. You can’t take a person’s words and then assume their actual beliefs are different.

People vote their conscience and some of those people are going to be ignorant, stupid, and often both.

I hear ya about FRONTLINE. They tend to get the story correct, and tell it in such a way as to rev up my sense of righteous indignation.

I think they only have several recent episodes, which is cool enough. I’m not sure if donating unlocks more episodes. I know the FRONTLINE page (another great PBS offering) features a great many episodes, too. But it just now occurs to me, in the case of American Masters, that PBS perhaps can’t show every episode. …

According to Wikipedia, it debuted in 1986. Probably a different kind of program back then. Now it’s state of the art television. Yeah, you couldn’t pay me to watch PBS when I was a kid. Now, I’m always checking in to see what’s up. A lot of the episodes are made available on the PBS website, or on DVD, but…
