If indeed the Travoltas are having sex, the pilot and sexy stew scenario is pretty lame...UNLESS John takes the plane up and they fuck while doing zero gravity plunges, and THAT would be awesome! I guess another pilot would have to be flying the plane for that, or...I dunno. Use your imagination.
As for Jessica

So many great pop culture episodes: Lou Reed, Andy Warhol, Bob Dylan, the Doors, Jeff Bridges, David Geffen...it’s pointless making a list. They’re all great. I haven’t missed an episode in the last several years. I wish I had been hip to it when I was younger. It debuted in 1986! Now there are over 200 episodes.

I’ll watch an American Masters no matter the subject. PBS rocks!

What took them so long to meet? 2002?

Phoebe Waller-Bridge also co-starred in a British series created by actress Michelle Terry and actor Ralf Little, based largely on the experiences of Terry, who also starred. It’s called “The Cafe” and aired for two seasons in the UK on SkyTV, and in the US on PBS. It’s not at all like Fleabag, but it’s about a

Yeah, I wrote the same here. Somewhere. But I saw it in “CSNY: Deja Vu”, the reunion tour documentary from 2008. And that’s a band that would be playing almost exclusively to its peers (people coming of age in the 60s and 70s), an audience which, even if it didn’t share the band’s values, should at least BE AWARE

That’s...nuts. It’s not like Michael Stipe is only just now expressing his opinions. He’s ALWAYS been vocal about where he stands politically and that shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

I wrote something similar about a CSNY tour in the 2000s elsewhere in these comments. I don’t know what to make of people who put conditions on artists, especially when it’s those artists they admire.

Yes. Reminded me of a 2008 documentary I watched on a CSNY, (Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young) reunion tour in the mid-2000s. There’s a scene showing a lot of attendees heckling, flipping the bird, walking out, etc. when the band launches into a song called “Let’s Impeach the President”. This was, of course, aimed at

Hi-fi stereo VCRs were the best way to record long band rehearsals. Video wasn't even recorded. Just pop in a tape, set the VCR to EP or SLP and play.

That is already a too ripe banana for me in the Ringo Starr tweet.

I'm convinced most Americans have no concept of how much money a billion dollars really is.

Although there are a lot of variations and sub-denominations in Methodism, people who identify as Methodist tend to have more progressive views than this person claims to have and espouse on Twitter. I'm no expert however.

I can't help but imagine, thanks to her SNL parody of "Naked and Afraid" with Peter Dinklage, Leslie Jones doing a parody sketch of the Spirit Weavers camp.

I been ROCKIN' this game for about a week without a clue of its popularity.

Wait though, why is his reaction priceless? Seems only slightly more enthused than when he thought he placed second.

Nobody initially suggested "incredibly busy crisis actor"?

I don't think he'd bother. His focus has long been centered on a lily-white UK. Not even sure he knows the US exists.

He is, of course, only following in the footsteps (aha!) of Sarah Palin and her American flag shoes (too lazy to find and post photo). As if wearing your country's flag ON YOUR FEET shows respect.

Are we sure she's not shooting a Woody Allen movie, given her wardrobe in the photo of her and the gentleman with the cane? Woody likes filming on location these days.
