Oh my gosh that is awful! I have heard so many horror stories about Mirena, some from my best friends. The worst are the infections and when it "migrates"! Despite the stories, I did it anyway and so far so good. I almost threw up from the insertion pain and had headaches and occasional cramps for a couple months.…

Personally, I don't mind talking about my tattoos and I love any compliment I can get. I have more tattoos than any girl I know short of my friends who have full-sleeve-type pieces (I have many small and medium sized pieces on various body parts).

Yeah, nobody suggested it to me. But looking back, I feel like my bf (who is totally rad and would have accompanied me if I had asked) would have bought me a giant steak and a million margaritas if he had seen the pain I was in during the insertion. All I got was ice cream for the most appointment cramping.
