Getting sick and tired of these events that allow the crowd to be so close to the track. This may have been a driver mistake, and mistakes happen, but there are precautions & equipment designed to prevent the carnage we see here when mistakes happen. The crowd is way too close, the temporary fencing is enough to hold

Definitely has to be the RUF CTR “Yellowbird”. This video has stood in my mind for many years to be the ultimate example of a car that would ruthlessly murder ANYONE that wasn’t a professional racing driver.

I feel bad for that guy. He wasn’t giving it excessive throttle or tearing out of there like a jackass. The way it just slid out from under him while almost completely upright the dealer probably covered the tires in some kind of wax or tire shine bullshit that caused him to go down.

Unnecessary? That hinge is the entire reason the doors are able to open with so little space next to them.
