I always found it fascinating that some cities shut down with just a little bit of snow. Still remember being state side and watching TV showing all the closed schools, all because of a couple of cm’s of snow. Get winter tires and drive, it’s not rocket science.

Ha! Brilliant, good sir

Just suggested this on twitter. Brilliant! =D

Proud to be Norwegian! Great guy

My favorit luxury car, ever

These things are massive and so pretty, and the strongest smell of leather, that is luxury

Whenever someone mentions the 355 that scene springs to mind, might be expensive, but they are still awesome

Yup! Would love to own a american truck, but they cost about the same as an s-class or 911

Wonderful article Doug! Helps to take the stress off in the exam periode. Fully agree about the BMW steering, though I think they have gotten better. The steering first gen Z4 I had should never have been put in a sporty convertible, but with the e87 1-series and the 2-series I have now it is a lot better. Helps with

I bought my 1-series, 2-series and MINI Cooper S without a test drive first, but that was my choice and the fact that they didn’t have a 2-series in stock and that I had previously driven all the others. Seems strange, should be no problem taking a Golf R for a test drive. Otherwise just buy it because they are

I agree, without a doubt my favorite show. Will not be watching if it continues with new hosts. Hopefully the great trio will continue to make DVD's

Ha! Great comment =D

BMW X3:
HOW can this person have passed a driving test?! Is it that way to get your license in the states?

Hope so, I've read there are a few problems with the diesels also, going to get an aftermarket warranty to be sure. Too bad you had so many issues, seem like wonderful cars(when they work)

I'm probably getting a 2009 525xd next week, will be interesting..

I kinda like the Infinti, but that might be because we don't get them in Europe. Just as all jalops love weird european cars you can't get

Another reason why we buy smaller engine cars (at least where I live in Norway) is because there are ridicolous taxes on cars with bigger engines. I would love to buy something american with a V8, I am jealous of all your cheap wonderfully big engines

Admittedly, I have some fear that I will burn up during all my trips across the ozone layer. However: I am comforted by the fact that the Tesla Model S is the safest car made, which means I will survive the journey with only a few bruises and possibly a skinned knee. So thank you, Steve, and I have just one question:

To start, bringing a non-conforming car into compliance with U.S. rules and regulations requires crash testing the car in order to prove that it meets U.S. safety standards. That means you can't simply buy one example of the car you want to import: you have to buy several. And as you can probably guess, all will be

Not a mercedes guy, but I love these cars. SLS drivetrain would have been badass though. Reminds me of the sheikh that put an SLR engine in a SLK55 AMG
