I read it as she was saying, okay, you found a girl with high cheekbones to play me, but the story isn't there.
And yet you keep reading Jez. Sounds like it's stressing you out, man.
Oh, honey. No.
Chillax, brah.
'All you've got is a girl with high cheekbones'
Hurf durf, silly me for falling for it (even though this article is partly about the specific possibility of Taylor Swift playing Joni Mitchell in a biopic). It's still not actually sexist, though. I don't think Harry Styles would do a good job of playing Bob Dylan in a biopic. I don't think Jaden Smith would do a…
I was commenting on the topic of this article. I'm sorry you can't see that. Have a good day.
No, it's actually perfectly fine to say "I don't think Person X would do a good job playing Person Y in a movie." Stop reading sexist things into things that are in no way sexist. Don't let your T. Swift stanning get in the way of basic reasoning skills.
Huh? The whole point of this article is that there have been reports of Taylor Swift playing Joni Mitchell in a biopic, and how there has been backlash about that. I was simply stating my opinion that, yes, I love both Taylor and Joni, but no, I don't think it would be a good idea for Taylor to play Joni in a movie.…
I mean, I love T. Swift (despite all rationality telling me I shouldn't). But she is no Joni. No, not at ALL.
please let SATC rest SJP.
It's possible to love someone deeply, and yet not want to put up with their (most likely unchanging, if addiction related) bullshit for all eternity.
I wanna give Reese two thumbs up and a pat on the back and all that, but I have a couple of small issues with this:
The comments I saw were almost entirely, "WHY DOES SHE LOOK SO DIFFERENT?" and not actual criticism. In fact, a lot of people commented they couldn't even tell what she had done (or if it was surgery) and hence were puzzled that she looked so dramatically different without a single tell-tale change.
How many people were actually criticizing her as compared to just being sort of surprised at how dramatic the changes were, in neither a good or bad way?
"Nothing "Pollyanna" about defending your friends and pointing out the level to which women get ridiculed for their appearance." Yeah, but, as sister site Gawker pointed out, it's just interesting to note. If Tom Cruise, a man, strolled onto a red carpet looking like a different person altogether, it might make…
They have none. This is the standard example of the majority Christians claiming persecution etc. It's hilarious.
