The parts where he had sex with her after she said no, stalked her, and browbeat her into sexual acts she explicitly did not want.

The Fall 2 Premiere Dates: The second series started last night on BBC2. Holy crap was it good. Less overtly violent (so far) but more psychologically tense.

I wish I could give this more stars! Love her recaps, I fell bad that she had to slog through all three books but she really shed a lot of light on what is really going on in the books.

Frankly I'm more comfortable with my attraction to him as a hot serial killer than I am with...literally any part of this movie. Take that how you will.

more like this generation's 9 1/2 Weak.

I read the book thinking it was going to be funny-bad, and came away utterly horrified by a totally unsexy depiction of an abusive relationship. You should probably get drunk in whatever romance trainwreck Katherine Heigl is starring in at Valentimes.

The Fall is really good - I've told a few friends to watch it on Netflix. He really is a super hot serial killer which I know isn't what I was supposed to take from this but still. I can't wait for the next season to go online.

"Anastasia."
"Christian."

why does he dress like The Unabomber when he goes for a run?

In all fairness, The Fall is amazing. You forget to mention Gillian Anderson as kickass detective Stella Gibson, and Archie Punjabi as the forensic pathologist!

"I like to see your face, it gives me some clue what you might be thinking."

But... but... no Luke? No Paris? No Emily!? NO JESS??!?!?!

I agree with you that people love competition, but it's usually two women pitted against one another. Britney vs. Christina, Katy Perry vs. Lady Gaga, Rita Ora vs. Rhianna for whatever reason, etc. In sports doing this makes sense, as they're actively competing and only one can win. But I'm pretty sure that multiple

I think you're ignoring the extent to which this doesn't happen to men, though. I really think it's a combination of what you're saying. It's definitely this weird side-taking habit that crops up EVERYWHERE in humanity but we're more likely to create this me vs. you dynamic with female celebrities—female comedians

That is a very good question. They've both done a great job writing very interesting, very funny books. I slightly preferred one over the other but it's rather silly to pit these two women against each other.

GOOD QUESTION.

This is some real Mean-Girling happening. I don't think any of the women mentioned in the post would like being associated with it.

I, in fact, have read both. Poehler's, of course, is way more hilarious, but her writing isn't as vibrant and evocative as Dunham's.

No, why would they? Chris and Bob are men and men are allowed to have opinions that run counter to other mens' opinions. Women, not so much.
