I don't think it would replace your words if you typed them but I find autocomplete annoying when I type in a long string then need to type in a shorter version of the same string and it automatically fills in the rest making me use the backspace key. #firstworldproblems

I had a huge problem for the longest time getting computers to be on the same homegroup. Leave the homegroup for all PCs and turn off all the PCs. Start one up then Create a homegroup with a custom password. Turn on the other PCs then join the homegroup with the custom password.

Yeah I think with mySQL you can also encrypt the whole database as well as the cells. I think it uses MD5 to encrypt. But yes obviously the ones who created the database have to set these options up manually they aren't on by default.

use msconfig to stop startup programs. You can really mess things up by stopping services that you need. Depends on what database they are using. If it's mySQL which it probably isn't, then it's stored salted. There isn't much else you can do. I'm not familiar with ASP.net so I wouldn't know how they are stored.
