Well if you're brain works that quickly then by all means lose those words. Imagine how strange it would be if someone just pauses mid sentence every time they were to use one of those words. I would think they were showing early symptoms of a stroke.

the blueray backup suggestion is good. It is more permanent than a HDD but you have to keep the discs vacuum sealed and out of the sunlight in a cool dry place because no one actually knows how long they will last.

First make sure your sound is enabled in your BIOS. Then go to playback devices and make sure the correct device is selected and made default. Next make sure that device is not muted. Then go into that devices properties and make sure under tha advanced tab that the correct format is chosen. Something like 16bit [44.kh…

LuckyCharms suggestions of tagging levels in the id tag is great. You never want to alter your music destructively. If you really want to edit these songs destructively then you can use a program like Audicity to reduce the gain and save it as an mp3. You have to do this for every song individually though.
