USB 3.0 couldn't have come sooner! Especially for flash drives. But was it even USB 2.0 that limited the speed of previous drives? I get about 10MB/s write on my Cruzer where my 2.5" gets like 30MB/s write on USB2.0. I don't know USB 3.0 sounds pointless if the chips are the speed limiting factor.
