@Mark Greig: I hate it when I switch channels to another station and it too has commercials. Then I switch to yet another station and it also has commercials. They are getting too good with pinpointing exact commercial spots.

@Deaf Mute: That's alot of bathroom breaks.

Now they need to enact a law that mandates all text in commercials be a standard size so you can read all of it. Misleading the customer isn't false advertisement but it's annoying.

I've been muting commercials for the longest time. And they do make them louder by brickwalling the hell out of them. Since most commercials are just voices the dB will be the same as one with music but it's more focused and is louder in the vocal frequency range.

@Voltswagon: 10lb of gold = 10lb of bills in weight. 10lbs of $20s at 1 gram per bill and 454 grams in a pound would be $90,800. 10lb of gold is roughly $208,000 if gold is $1300 per ounce.

@technomom1: Would you rather get ripped off by a machine that doesn't know greed or some arrogant merchant who judges you by your clothing in the gold district? Your choice.

This is sweet. I'd much rather have gold than put my money in a bank. I think the visual effect will outweigh the loss of interest.

@SEDAGIVE?!: These ATMs will surely be way to heavy to lift. Though I'm sure someone will try.

If your hard drive and screen both fail like on my Compaq Evo, you might still be able to boot it into a live Linux distro. It will be usable for most tasks.

The answer to why you don't use it more is probably because printer ink is roughly THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER GALLON!!

...the missiles in the facility became "unlaunchable;"...

@Dave-Farquhar: Yeah for most users this task would seem difficult. But it's definitely worth it. I'll probably try to write a script that downloads and install's the most recent update weekly for myself.

Contrary to popular belief, women don't like 9.7 inches. That's where my 7 inches fills the gap. ;)

Just got mvps working on windows and linux. pretty sweet for older systems with no headroom for extensions.

@#1 STUNNA: Nice!!! this is the best fix yet!

@Mandeep Singh: interesting... I've never tried Opera but I have grown very fond of chrome.

Habanero's are just the right heat for me.

A second time dimension? Like when I listen to Pink Floyd?

!!!!!STEP 2 won't work if you copy and paste that code into /etc/apt/sources.list !!!!!!
