I was very pleasantly surprised that they moved Gene and Courtney to "They could really like-like each other" territory- it shows how your attitudes towards people change when you're that young. It was sweet.

DANZIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGG
I hear ya. Softcore movies now are basically like hardcore movies only without certain shots.
S'more's "Big Box of Wood" boxset has an 86 minute version. It has some of his sex movies, Plan 9 and Bride of the Monster, some of his crime pictures and the "Crossroads Avenger" pilot he shot.
One thing I like about this show is that it has strong female villains as well as heroes- so far it's 2 for 2 in pitting Peggy against someone legitimately badass and almost sympathetic. (Speaking of which, Dottie next week!)
Suhpanels?
One thing I like about European zombie flicks, despite their widely varying quality, is that there's always more a sense of the zombies as something otherworldly and inhuman. The lengths they go to really make them as monstrous as possible probably has something to do with that.
I call foul, they totally skip over the gory super-rotted Italian horror zombies.
Why the fuck aren't people watching Agent Carter? Why is the Mighty Marvel Marketing Machine not doing its work?
Stark Industries is basically the Acme Company.
Whitney suddenly taking control at the end was a great climax. She'll be a great nemesis for the season.
A) They (meaning WCW) actually spoiled that Foley was going to win the title over on Raw. They thought this would discourage people from switching over.
I liked KO's "Where ya goin', buddy?" So, so Canadian.
I'M HELPING! I'M HELPING!
I really liked the realization of Bizarro. She was visually intimidating and her broken speech managed to be interesting rather than just goofy.
Fallen Archer is also a good new character. The whole Avengers knock-off group works better than it should.
Loved the introduction of NIGHT DICK.
Watched Jackie Brown on Monday. Pam Grier's performance is utterly astonishing.
Is an actor not an artist because they didn't write the part they play? A performer has a part in creating the art of the performance, just as the writer does- the performer makes decisions as to how to deliver the material.
It feels like they couldn't quite make up their mind between "superhero outfit" and "tactical gear" so you get something that doesn't quite look like either.
