Superheroes don't exist. They are symbolic of heroic and philosophical ideas.

Looks more like Baymax to me.

I feel like everyone already knows about Fury Road, so I'd say… Other Space. It was fun and endearing and features a cast of really great comedy people, and Yahoo Screen's reported failure presumably means we aren't getting any more.

It feels like this list was about standout columns and it's honestly hard to pick one best B&T. Teti is just a consistently really good writer.

"Welcome aboard our flight from Newark to slightly outside Newark, this flight will take no more than 2 minutes and 30 seconds."

Well Punk wasn't just counterculture but a specific style of counterculture, and current music is so fractured it's hard to really call out whatever's the most mainstream and react against it.

Still would.

Nice job on the tags BTW

Commercials. Sweet, sweet commercials.

I am sincerely unironically glad that unpopular opinions can find representation on the Internet.

Given how insanely overexposed the movie was when it was considered public domain, I can see how they might have considered it a national emergency.

So, Manson needs braces?

What strikes me is how *grim* the reboot looks. Like the photography is very dark and colorless and why would you do that for what is basically a crazy action escapade about adrenaline junkies?

It was a place where a bunch of punk bands played. Like, it's historic because it played a part of that scene, but the original location is long gone (I think it got torn down, or is slated to be) so without the historical connection it doesn't really mean anything.

They're at a party, and someone comes up to Groucho with a slip of paper to tell him to introduce the woman who's about to sing. Before the man has finished talking Groucho has taken the paper and torn it up, before launching into an

Me too. It was cool.

It's so weird the things that make deals to be hard-coded into some smart devices. My BR player has no Hulu or Amazon player, but it does have Netflix, and Blockbuster!

Plus big movies like GOTW (still the unadjusted record holder) opened with limited engagements that actually cost quite more than the general release (the "roadshow" model that Hateful Eight is sort of emulating.)

You don't think actual murders and such might be trivialized if they're mentioned in the context of pop culture dustups?

You're forgetting the flashbacks to her pre-Kilgrave where she's much peppier and livelier, not to mention her phone impersonations. Heck, just going from Chloe to this is an impressive feat.
