"Having one focus for all the outrage" didn't work so well when it was Marie Antoinette…

Ritter too, she really shows her range.

True there's an issue in terms of raw power and such. I do think in general the villains needed more development.

Are all those lyrics about "how much she sucks", though? it's just describing aspects of her personality, there's no negativity or mockery attached.

That was my experience too. Like, I was favorably inclined going in, I liked Rocky Balboa, this seemed like a nice way to continue the story without repeating it, etc. But they really nailed it, from the story and characters to things like the visual design and the music.

Ed Wood was over 2 hours.

I kind of like that it's "The Road Chip." Not just "Road Chip", they needed the article there.

I've long been an advocate for "Move Your Dead Bones"

Delving back into FTL a bit. Think I've figured out a decent strategy for seeing most of a sector before having to jump but the endgame still eludes me. I almost feel sad sending my intrepid crew to its certain death.

It was impressive just how rapidly a silly hobby for sports nerds got turned into a numbers racket.

That's not so much contempt for humanity as it is just being insane.

I know this site in particular singled it out for looking down on its subject matter but as a sci-fi reader I found it rang weirdly true, down to the books' strange sexual preoccupations. You get hit by that shit a lot when you pick up random sci-fi books.

I'd heard the J'onn theory before but was thrown off by the Henshaw alias. Good work foiling the comics nerds, showrunners! Good makeup on him.

I'm not sure, they may actually be pushing him as a creep with that scene.

That line quoted in the Simpsons (Classic) review about "the tightest 3 hours and 10 minutes on television" is starting to feel very relevant.

One two, one two, one two…

With several even worse songs on it?

I'm just sorta "eh" on it, actually. I don't think it's good at all, I don't really enjoy it, but I find it just sort of airy and forgettable and non-catchy.

I was definitely surprised to see him turn out a really solid Ray Bolger impression.

"I'm Bart Simpson."
