Soles is so freaking adorable in that movie. I get the feeling that she probably could have been a big star if she wanted to, but she chose to raise a family instead.

Some great theatrical experiences. First I saw Godzilla and Amazing Spider-Man 2 at the drive-in, and while I may want to see the former in an indoor theater, it was still awesome. It's a slow build, and Gareth Edwards can be a bit of an asshole teasing the audience at times, but the payoff is so worth it. An…
Yeah, she's apparently fucking awesome.
It really is a perfect bit of casting. From the very first scene- "Arrest me! I'm a slasher!" He really sinks his teeth into that part.
This one was a real return to form. The one before it, Godzilla vs. Megalon, is easily the worst of the classic lot, just very shoddy and dull, and the series in general was running up against increasingly tiny budgets (because the Japanese film industry as a whole was really in big trouble.) This has most of the same…
True, but the non-monster segments are full of crazy sci-fi weirdness so it adds up to a pretty solid experience overall.
There has to be at least a lawsuit there, if not downright criminal negligence.
"Bernadette, so… girl" was the line of the episode. The dialogue here is so good.
I always loved Pam's sincere "in the name of Nutcracker Christmas."
It's possible that's just a drop in the bucket- also depends on how many goats the dragons eat on a regular basis.
Oh, shit. Bob's Burgers is going to be pre-empted SO MANY TIMES.
I feel the exact opposite- TV shows where you can take time to develop a romance subplot and see which actor pairings have genuine chemistry tend to work out better than most modern romcoms.
Ghidorah and Destroy All Monsters are two different movies, and are both awesome.
Season 7, Danerys conquers Westeros with her chain of BBQ goat restaurants.
This is why I have a bit of trouble getting into Japanese wrestling, apart from the language barrier- at times it's so goddamn *stiff* it's genuinely uncomfortable. I know not all promotions work that style, though.
Finally got around to watching my Blu-Ray of Sorcerer. By God it's a beautiful, beautiful transfer of an amazing film. And it's at the local Drafthouse this Sunday! Probably yours too if you have one!
I dunno, I'm given to think there's a knife at her back in all this. Being a spurned lover is one thing but nothing we've seen of Shae tells me she'd be willing to outright get Tyrion executed just to get back at him.
I thought this was actually a good episode. There were no real clunker sketches, everything had something going for it. It helps that Charlize Theron is, well, Charlize Theron.
That was a very nice homage.
I really get the feeling that since Return to Oz flopped, everyone decided that doing any Oz-related thing means you have to get as close to the visual style of the MGM film as copyright law allows.
