While you’re right about this go-around being nothing, it’s not the same... weights & loads are different. The airshow loads would be feather-weight compared to a revenue flight, allowing it to turn sharper & climb steeper. But I’ve seen those videos and it’s super impressive that a bird that size can do what it did

Yup, exactly... you can see him increase/decrease his flare angle a couple of times. He could’ve still touched down but it would’ve been a hard landing and then tax the brakes to compensate for a late touchdown.

It isn’t really anything spectacular! He maintained altitude to gain speed and then climbed out instead of choosing to thump it down and tax the brakes-tires with a late touchdown. No biggie, nothing to see here. Btw, that’s why those guys earn the big bucks - to make such split-second decisions.

Those streaks most likely happened during flight. Changes in temperature & pressure between ground level and flight altitude means water goes through condensation cycles and gets streaked due to motion. You can see this happen when you fly through clouds as well. The streaks then dry up and stain the exterior.

Great job to Verstappen.

Just because 1 candidate is horrible doesn’t automatically mean the others are awesome! But, Clinton and Sanders are just about marginally better suited to run the country than Trump - slightly better of the 2 evils, if you must. That in itself is a very depressing thing - that the decision for the most powerful seat

Wonder how many F-bombs were thrown in those 2mins..? Also, is there a Part-II after the white car catches up to the pick up on the freeway? To summarize the whole thing, both parties got what they deserved and they’re both in the wrong - most probably.

Hopefully, someone who snags one can lend it to either of the Top Gear teams or any other good reviewer... like Nick Mason and his Enzo to TG.

Dashes are the retro-future devices.

Get well soon Michael!

Haha, it looks like it’s in the center... the off-center position might be an optical illusion ‘coz that guy’s hand is blocking a lot. If not, the wheel will act as a cam LOL

Come on, those single-spoke, floating steering wheels are awesome!

I don’t get the “getting used to” part. Instead of swiping, you just put it in. What’s the big deal? Btw, even the Android/Apple/Samsung Pay system didn’t take a lot of “getting used to” and that’s a whole new way of payment - no swiping, no putting in, just waving.

That’s a guy lost in a black hole looking for a circuit breaker.

invisible is an inherent attribute of magnetic fields

And based on this recent research, you’ll be attracted to it irrespective of you liking it or not.

Tch tch... when will they learn. American muscle cars don’t like corners. Sigh...

So, it took them 10 weeks to learn about a device called an Echo and start listening..? Those guys are slow! Btw, good job, Matt!

“I hope the encryption system isn’t like Apple’s. We don’t want that shitstorm again.”
