Sorry buddy, Echo-FBI is a package deal, I don’t want to split ‘em up, they’re so good together.

Based on this, I can neither confirm nor deny that the sales of Amazon Echo will fall. I hadn’t thought much about the Feds tapping into my Echo but now, I’ll probably think about unplugging it.

If, as the letter says, the Summon feature has trouble identifying obstacles that are “hanging from the ceiling,” it’s easy to see how the high bed of the trailer could fall into that ceiling-hangar category

Well, maybe it was his fault this time but how long before people start blaming autonomous tech for all their driving transgressions. Poor AI would just be the scapegoat everytime! Or, are we already there...?

He looks at the phone....picks it up...and says, “Uhh Autzone, may I help you?”

“Everybody, sit the fuck down. We need to close the door and push back”

Has this been blessed by the airlines? I’m sure they’ll have something to say about this - its trying to profit from their seat reservation money right from under their noses and, most importantly, its playing around with the seat manifest (affecting safety, catering etc), which is the property of the airline.

I don’t know... the El Nino hardly opened the taps in Southern California, a region that should’ve gotten better - the drought only temporarily went away only to return pretty much at the same time as last year. There were only a couple of days of what other parts of the country call “rain”... of course, here, it was

I have a few friends in Fort McMurray who work in the oil industry and I was glad to know that they’re all ok and back in Calgary. This is turning out to be a monster to tame, even neighboring Russia has offered help (you know, the country you can see from your bathroom window up there).

Where is Blue Origin’s test facility? The desert in NM or WA?

Apples & oranges... They’re 2 different companies going about space flight privatization in two different ways. Blue Origin’s main goal is to put the common man in sub-orbital flights (recreation/tourism) while SpaceX’s goal is to put payloads into orbit and then crew to ISS and, now, Mars.

Such a beautiful image of a brilliant car but that orange reflector kinda bothers me. Damn North American specs, it would look so much cleaner without it.

It’s a very handsome looking car. Top Gear made a good film about it but the best one is Car & Driver’s Jethro Bovingdon driving it on the Stelvio Pass - beautiful film.

Shameless plug about Hyperloop:

How hard can it be? The Top Gear monkeys did it with ease...

Oh, I’m not talking about asking permission - I’m glad they are! Just that main stream news channels think something as silly as this is actually a story to cover!

Her Twitter feed has multiple news agencies asking for permission, is this really news worthy? That list also includes Fox - why are they diversifying from Trump coverage, especially in his celebratory moment?

I took a similar one last Fall at the MCAS Miramar Air Show during their Wall of Fire as well. That’s a Blue Angel F/A-18, btw, probably just like the title shot. Nikon D5100, 300mm f/6.3, 1/2500s.

So, when I was vrrooming around with Hot Wheels cars as a kid, I was training for professional work? Who would’ve thunk!

I always thought the Ferrari 355 was the Testarossa with the long, thin vanes on the doors. However, I never see “Ferrari 355 Testarossa”, including this page...
