I really liked it but yeah, the redshirting was bad. Like how they offed Kyle Raynor like...effortlessly and brutally. It was kind of jarring. It felt like they were trying to emulate Marvel’s Ultimate universe where like major title heroes died by rubble falling on them randomly haha

Agreed, Rebirth has been a breath of fresh air.

It’s a weird scene no matter how you shake it, but Nightwing was a plot-mandated death from Injustice game canon, and him dying in a freak accident via team-kill is more beneficial to the narrative than someone failing to save him or some misunderstanding-conga.

It wasn’t my favorite death... but the REACTION to the death is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

Yeah, Dick got taken out like a punk. Fortunately they redeemed themselves a little when they later they bring him back as the new Deadman.

This is the kind of info/content I would like to see more in Kotaku. Not sure what are the rules for reposting from other sites, but Kotaku could have interviewed Reggie himself.

Even through all the corporate speak you can tell there’s a bit of sincerity in there.

I have a question, and it’s truly not intended to be snarky? How does building these things take multiple sessions of construction work? I’ve built a few sets with my nephews in recent years - the Quintet, the Batcave, things I would consider moderately complicated - and it’s never taken more than 2 hours. Do you

My friend and I have actually been on this topic before! We listed all the “legendaries” and tried to ascertain how many of them were in poké-xistence. We know that there are just one of some pokés, like Ho-Oh, and the legendary beasts, because of dex entries, animé, etc etc. Where other pokés like Lugia and even Mew

Not at all the case, I play 10-20 hours a week, and solely PvE content. The staying power is the fact that it’s an incredible game, PvP or PvE.

Hey now, I won’t hear a word against Phantump and Trevenant. They’re one of my favorite evolution lines from last gen.

It’s kinda supposed to be a grind. Sure there’s more they can do to improve things but 4x candy for buddies is probably unsustainable.

the increased candy rewards are probably only for the Halloween event..... because you collect candy on Halloween.

It’a Halloween bonus because Halloween is all about CANDY.

From the official blog: “It’s Halloween season and we have a treat for you! From October 26th to November 1st, you’ll earn double the amount of Candy every time you catch, hatch and transfer Pokémon! Don’t forget your Buddy Pokémon, because they will help you earn Candy four times as fast.”

I think close to 3500 - 4000 blocks, like 400MB

cool maybe they can just post this same piece for 7 years before posting a new one

just swap and it will know. No work needed on your end.

I think as a subscription game it was alright, but as a F2P game, it was hard to swallow all the random locks/micro-transactions — like not being able to equip certain gear unless you bought an unlock, not being able to carry above a specific amount of money unless you bought an unlock, not having access to extra
