They chose Oshkosh over real car companies for no real reason at all.

She took the kids to McDonald’s three times in the same weekend. That’s pretty extreme. Especially after promising she wouldn’t take them there anymore.

This may explain why stormtroopers in Star Wars can’t shoot straight..... In the future, this is just accepted as part of the job.

Sometimes not even then!

This dude breaks four laws at once and admits to doing it nearly a dozen times previously, and he gets reinstated.

They are both assholes.

Why isn’t it an EV.

It has a prescribed route with a predictable repeatable range.

It is operated at low speeds and makes frequent stops.

Two things can be believed at once:

This deal was worked and approved by the Trump admin’s USPS Board and finalized 31 days into the Biden administration.

I firmly and fully believe that grandparents should respect the wishes of the child’s parents, and that grandma was way the hell out of line here, if the mom had explicitly asked her (multiple times, apparently) not to give the children fast food.

I’ve done stop and go urban traffic, with A/C, for hours in a Fit and still average in the 20s

I wondered how UPS fared in MPG with their brown trucks, and I found a 20-year old report from the US Energy Administration that tested CNG-powered UPS trucks vs diesel. The CNG-powered trucks got 8.5mpg, while the diesel trucks got 12.

Yeah. By gosh, why are they going to a company that makes overalls?

I can offer one possible explanation:

While I get it that stop—drive 50 feet—stop—drive 50 feet—stop...  will obliterate gas mileage, this is shocking. And it seems like it’s the perfect fit for electric — more batteries for longer routes, smaller batteries for shorter routes, tons of torque to get the thing rolling, no wasted energy or fuel when it’s

For sure. But how do you improve by only 0.4 mpg?

I think with their average speed aerodynamics doesn’t really factor that much

Haven’t looked up the numbers myself, but apparently the new mail truck can carry twice the weight of the old LLV.
Fully loaded it would be considerably more economical.
I reckon that if you would limit the power to the 90ish hp of the LLV, that you’d also get much better fuel economy.

That said: WHY THE FUCK DOES A

A couple questions:

Your “girlfriend” did it, sure.
