I relocated to Twitter back in September 2021 and have been active there since January. Anyone interested can find me @BassoonYsu. I'll be there until it implodes.

I am also deeply skeptical of the health benefits of deep fried anything (fish included).

I think some studies even say anything past 6 hours and you lose productivity. I probably could do my job in four days and 6 hours if we would stop having so many pointless meetings. Actually these meetings cut into my productive more than anything because it disrupts my flow.

Just a suggestion here - but maybe a regular non-PHEV hybrid is what you really want. Hear me out. This vehicle is primarily for long trips, you have an around town Volt already. So you aren’t going to get much use out the plug-in feature, but you’ll have to drag around that heavier battery all the time, plus it’ll

6 Miatas. A Lotus. Project cars. Volvos. And the ability drop more on a long distance cruiser...

I don’t understand how fish is not considered meat.  It is still flesh of an animal.

I think fish on Friday is such an ingrained habit for some older Catholics that its just now a matter of culture, even if it no longer has a religious proscription. And there are some who never changed their habits after Vatican II, although that generation is fast dying off.

Why on earth would anyone get a fish fry from a steam table? What waspish dystopia are these people trapped in?

“Can be done” is not the same as “reasonable” or “humane”. Also, I’m not sure I want to be treated by a healthcare worker in the tail end of a 3rd 12-hour day.

Right? Most places I know of (including my own workplace) do four 10-hour days in that situation.

Screw Chick-fil-A, I want to work for this mythical company:

It’s at least 50/50 he’s a douche nozzle.

Seriously, I was coming here to say this exact thing. Austin Clagett did nothing wrong here and is just being screwed over by two companies that were too cheap to cover their offered prize.

“No one in this story seems particularly likable and I love it.” I see no issue with the person that should have won the truck. The article does not seem to make that person seem unlikeable. Or, did I miss something.

No one in this story seems particularly likable...

I voted ND. But my reasons are entirely subjective and personal

27 years old, 25k miles. So less than 1,000 miles a year. Even if gas is $10/gal, and it gets 10 mpg (to make it easy), that is about $925 a year.

No A/C, rough around the edges, not registered in eight years, not smogged.

You forgot the “/s”

Solid ND. This isn’t worth more than $10,000.  The mods do not add value.  The seller is suffering from some serious wishful thinking.
