To spend more time in the kitchen. I will expand my everyday dinner rotation from the same 30ish meals I make over and over. I will also not wait for a special occasion or event to make meals I previously only made for those occasions or events.

Orion loves to smile, too. He makes everything better.

We aren’t sure. The shelter where we got him classified him as a lab/chihuahua mix. Several of our friends are convinced he has a touch of pit bull, while the groomer thinks he has miniature pincher in him, not chihuahua. He’s a good boy, no matter what his background.

Orion agrees.

Does your mom know my grandaunt? Her Christmas baby is Holly Noel.

I made ravioli tonight. It is a Christmas Eve tradition for my husband’s family, but it got moved since my parents are coming over tomorrow night for my family’s traditional pizza.

Baking. I have cookies, fudge, peppermint bark, and lemon bars to make. My family has pizza for Christmas Eve dinner, so I have dough to make for that as well. Most of my Sunday will be spent in the kitchen, which is one of my favorite places to be.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll have to try that.

Very real. I usually make the hot chocolate first with about 1 1/2 cups milk and 1/3 cup dark chocolate chips. Once that is ready, I add about 1/2 to 3/4 cups red wine for two servings.

Red wine in hot chocolate (preferably made with dark chocolate) is a much better boozy winter beverage than eggnog.

We have been fortunatewith my son’s ADHD. My dad teaches special education, recognized signs, recommended testing, and my son was diagnosed at 7. My dad has also been able to help us navigate 504 plans and treatment options. Little Grapes started middle school this year, which put some new bumps in the road, but we’re

Medication for a condition that treats a curved penis. I’m a woman, my husband does not have this condition, and the ad was on my phone, which only I use.

I sewed the bottom and two sides then made columns. I filled each column with one square worth of polypropylene pellets, used a line of pins to hold them in place, then sewed across about an inch above the line of pins. On the last row, I left two inches of extra fabric to fold over to reinforce the final seam and

Weighted blanket for Little Grapes is done!

I can relate. My 12 year old developed an obsession with astronomy when he was 6 (which followed first trains then race cars), and still is. We have been to observatories, watched all the shows, lost a lot of sleep during meteor showers and the blood moon, and joined the local astronomy club. His career goal is

There are several tutorials on Pinterest. You Tube likely has them as well. This is the first one I’ve made. I don’t sew much and the weights make it awkward, so many of the seams are crooked. It works well for giving to my son, but it probably wouldn’t be considered sell-able.

Polypropylene plastic pellets. If I make another, I may try dried beans. These pellets are small, so I have to use a ton of pins to keep them from spilling when I sew each row.

I’m close to finishing Little Grapes’ weighted blanket.
