That’s Minecraft for me. Which always gets the same criticism: but what’s the point? Idk, make one up!

But it’s still an incredibly simple thing to do. If you have farming, crafting, travel, NPCs, and a quest system... it takes practically zero effort to do this. Often the simplest things add the most depth, or offer a way to introduce players to mechanics in a fun or whimsical way.
