that’s it! I’m calling them goombers from now on. Also, in my youth I called the koopa troopas, “Turkeys.” Why? I have no idea!

The problem there is that every single character has looked very different based on generation. Did Leon look the same in re4 as he did in re2? Did the goombas in super Mario world look the same in Super Mario Bros. 3? Some people claim ownership on something that isn’t theirs and need to get over it. Resident evil is…
So, I feel like they don’t accurately understand everquest’s quests. They did not introduce you to a linear progression through zones. Instead, they had you travelling across continents, with interweaving quests that provided a piece of overarching stories that connected with other quests belonging to other classes…
Oh it’s perfectly ok! I should have elaborated! This is the internet after all and I forget that I am not always shouting into a void! Thank you for understanding!
Hold on. I think we are making some judgements on my statement and being defensive. I should elaborate. What I mean by Nintendo being... well... Nintendo, means that it will do what it wants regardless of the outside world. They create technology and make business decisions that they want to make. Who, post-gamecube,…
100% agree. I also feel like how the development cycle is for most development teams needs to change. The rotating cast of developers leads to such a lack of identity and persistent level of quality. Some studios get it, while others do not. There are things that can be done to push the boundaries of games without…
I feel like the major issue with pushing the boundaries of gaming doesn’t rely on the hardware, but the cost and complexity of development. We are hitting the road block of games being too complex and too large in scale to the point where it isn’t cost effective to the developer. The ps4 is doing great, making great…
Oh that would be a no brainer. If it is missing, shame on then
The article is about how sometimes being a pirate is being an asshole. Do you want to know why k am not sharing my gamertag, because your aggression is genuinely frightening. You seem unstable. You are angry over video games to a point where you would insult a stranger over and over again in a heinous way. That’s not…
Hw does it feel to have true righteous indignation? I feel like we have a misunderstanding here. You judge me on one act of silliness and blow it into some out of proportion cartoon monstrosity to feed your hate. I am not that person.
I don’t think you fully grasp what righteous indignation means. It is the perceived moral slight that incites anger or retribution and is usually used as a derogatory term. Sling insults all you like, but the rules are, if you want to sail with another person, you are a team. If you want to be an antisocial lone…
I first have to say. “Thank you.” Every method to eat every single candy listed here is how I do it and people make fun of me and call me a madman for doing so. So thank you for putting these methods into words on a way to elevate candy into being a real treat versus a raw consuming attitude.
I, like everyone else, would like to point out the second item on that list is their video presentation. That is their press conference with all their announcements. Just because this is the internet does not mean you should fly off the handle on raw emotions.
One hundred times this. I almost exclusively played with random players and it is an absolute blast. Every game is a different experience and I have a bajillion more ideas on how to shake things up. I have put in over 40 hours between release and technical alphas and never felt a grind. I get that the game isn’t for…
I don’t know. I think people do want an arcade Nintendo game that is the father of a beloved franchise that has never been released on any platform ever.
YARRRRR!!!!!
Well what I mean by the spirit of the game is having adventures and doing pirate-y stuff. He let other folks grind for him. Again... he legitamitely earned it and it is such a silly thing for folks to get upset over.
The guy did in fact achieve this difficult task. He put the time in, even if it was done in a way that is against the spirit of the game. The reality is, why is anyone mad about this? Tons of players will reach the status. The gauntlet was thrown by Rare to give a reward to the first player to achieve the rank and…
You nailed it. Games are toys to be played with. Use the mechanics to experiment and just have fun. This is why I love Sea of thieves. Lots of room to play.
There definitely can be reward without grinding though by offering complex challenges that are mixed with the risk involved. Definitely need to put work and effort in, no doubt. I always loved how The Secret World used actual mental puzzles and challenges in their quests. Sure they could be cheesed by looking them up…
