The video from what I guess was a doorbell or security camera of her bombing down a tiny residential street at 80 MPH is terrifying. It’s truly amazing she didn’t kill anyone, even ignoring the crash.

Something to remember: when Heche had a public relationship with Ellen DeGeneres around 97, it all but killed her career. The story I heard was that Harrison Ford personally intervened on her behalf to get her the part in Six Days, Seven Nights, because the studio didn’t want to cast her.
Recently did a full series rewatch (not that it took that long). Seasons 1 and 2 are so far and away better than the rest of the series, it’s kind of insane. I’m not sure exactly what changed but it just seemed to lose the balance of fun sci-fi satire, family comedy, meta-comedy, and dark introspection. Later seasons…
I like the season 2 premiere where they get split into different potential outcomes. Could have been a Futurama plot.
Straight guy here. This movie is awesome and very underrated as a Zemeckis picture. It’s very fun. Sure, the satirical targets are very old (like Madeline and Helen get) but you get involved because of these delectable characters and the story’s sheer entertainment value, which includes a fantastic production design,…
I’m kind of happy to have more “canon” episodes and character development, even if it’s just in small bits.
I was kind of worried Rick & Morty would enter the Simpsons realm, where the show mostly becomes about itself as opposed to telling a story. Just full of meta-references and the plot doesn’t make any sense…
The film’s ending moral, that true immortality comes from creating a legacy that will outlive you, has become far more poignant with Bruce Willis’ dementia and forced retirement.
Exactly. Would there be the outrage if they’d gotten married? I’m guessing there wouldn’t be all this gnashing of teeth over a 33-year-old marrying an 18-year-old.
incredibly disappointing, but it’s remarkable that two men were able to turn a twitter friendship into entire careers.
OK, but that “at best” is pretty awesome. Yes, Jordan Peele is the more successful of the two, but Keegan Michael Key is, by basically any measure, very successful. It’s hard to imagine Desus and Mero would see that as a cautionary tale.
Why only two timelines? Christina could easily lie further in the future, Maya’s dream of the fly swarm just misdirection. Her conversations are so reminiscent of the dead Francis in Season 3, she’s clearly scripted. There’s the weird discontinuity to their lives too - Delores always wakes up perfectly coifed, no need…
He’s a human who isn’t a dick to them.
He wasn’t. Not until now. He also wasn’t in season 2.
So the timelines are aligned now, probably. Christina is an open question, but given that “Olympiad Entertainment” is where Christina works and is also where Charlotte has been testing Caleb for fidelity it seems like that her storyline actually is in parallel with Bernard, Frankie, Charlotte and Host Caleb.
I agree. The first three episodes were showing us how Maeve and Caleb tried to stop Charlotte the first time. the rest of the season will show us how Maeve, Bernard, Stubbs and Frankie’s freedom fighters try to topple Charlotte’s new world.
The age range is uncomfortably big but 18 year olds are not goddamn children. Can people on the internet please stop doing this thing where they declare everyone they dislike to be a pedophile? All it does is cheapen a very serious crime.
Let’s stop this. At 18, you are an adult. She made a choice. She wasn’t groomed, fooled, brainwashed, or enslaved.
I can agree that she is mechanically adequate. She’s lacking the charisma needed to carry most of the roles that Zombie gives her. Acting is about giving the audience a reason to look at and listen to you beyond the fact that the camera is pointed at you and there are lines to be read.
She has dead eyes. That works in her favor for the gore films but not so much when you have a carry a film and bS animated. Plus. The colors popping in each scene just makes her dead eyes deader.
She doesn’t exactly have a high bar to work with in a Zombie movie.
