SJP was very old school at the time because she had been a child star (she did stage work, Footloose, etc.) and was taught you didn’t talk about those things with each other.

People are usually skeptical of anyone who claims insider tea but this is the exact mix of banal contract disputes and celebrity ego that would make perfect sense.

But it sounds like her lack of support/advice is what scuttled their plan.
