At first I was very confused because I had mixed up my corporate multimedia behemoths and I assumed you were just talking about the already-out Nickelodeon game.
Shaggiest and most rambling movie of his career?
So they’re trying to do A Christmas Story but with 80's nostalgia instead of 40's nostalgia. It’s a bold strategy, Cotton, let’s see if it pays off for them.
Could have been me in about 1979 or 1980 trying to get Mattel Electronic Football / Colecovision Electronic Quarterback or in 1982 trying to get an Atari 2600. Successful in both endeavors thanks to Santa/the senior Funkhousers.

I’m fascinated that this was not only pitched — but greenlit and produced. Who in the world sat down and went “Ya know, I think what we really need out there in the world is MORE Turner & Hooch!”
Granted, this is the second time someone tried to turn it into a series (first time was in 1990 — but at least back then…
Essentially every reality TV show
