as much as I loved this scene--and I remember howling with laughter when I first saw it, and giggle every other time since then--the part that makes me laugh more went unanswered--did he actually serve it to everyone without telling them he used a manila folder to scoop it off the floor and back into the pot?  I can’t

Those are both good bets. His car lot was raided by the Department of Homeland Security about a year-and-a-half ago, and I’ve seen a lot of speculation that, based on their involvement, he is likely looking at trafficking or porn charges. The other common guess is something financial.

Oh I know, I live north of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and they have massive tanks made from the same stuff. I guess I jut wonder how much the buildings on either side will settle and how long it will be ok up there, there is nothing else in the middle but water and acrylic!

Plain chihuahuas just have weird, ugly faces. Cross ‘em with a shiba or something and you get actual adorable dogs:

Hey, remember “Hey, remember the 80's”?

I do think VH1 still had some enjoyable stuff through the ‘90s (I used to enjoy 8 Track Flashback, Pop Up Video, even the early Behind the Musics). Once they started going into the increasingly skeevy reality shows and those awful smugfest talking head shows (like the one above, which may be the cheapest looking thing

Yeah, I’m not saying I hate the outfit. I dig the design. It’s just the glow in the dark white sections. Keep ‘em white, just not super bright white. Maybe a flat white.

Even without the Epstein, Spacey & Clinton (and...Chris Tucker?! What’s he doing there?!!) segment, celebration of this kind of obscene wealth is disgusting. We shouldn’t be applauding these people and dreaming of being them, we should be storming the gates to seize that wealth and spread it throughout the populace.

Let me guess, they are a legacy student?

One weird thing about that, though, is that one of the big COVID conspiracy theories is that it’s a plot by megabillionaire Bill Gates.

The idolatry of billionaires nowadays is cockeyed as ever- I came across some guy recently that was angry that somebody said Elon Musk is evil for his spreading of Covid conspiracies- that he’s never done that, that Elon just promotes “vaccine skepticism”. After I shared a comprehensive list of Elon’s conspiracy

I still find it a bit depressing that there are auto enthusiasts who think this way, at all. I’d thought the multifaceted weirdnesses of Jalopnik—the Radwood specials, the NPCP polls, the design foci, the apparent appreciation—meant people’d evolved out of the whole “if it’s not hard, fast, and loud, it’s for the

Just because it isn’t traditionally lust worthy doesn’t mean it can’t be enthusiast fodder. There are more than a few people that would love nothing more than to buy a small 2 seat convertible but because they have a life and other people to consider, wind up in crossovers and SUVs.

“flex” is a relative thing. A parking garage or any structure needs to flex or move a little. You’ll feel this on bridges or tall buildings. If the structure is too rigid it will have an immediate point of failure vs. being able to absorb some outside force and move the force along the structure. Too much flex you get

That baby was Jack Black, apparently the only celebrity that can trend without eliciting a sigh.
