VPs running for president is a modern phenomenon, really only since Bush I has it been even a remote premise. Most of the VPs of the 20th century had their President die for them to take over, Roosevelt, Coolidge, Truman, Johnson, and Ford (Nixon 'resigned').

. . .The irony burns.

The problem with this whole argument is that 'the rich' is a broad and generic term. There are much easier and more targeted ways of enhancing jobs both in total and in salary and they involve targeted tax exemptions for corporations and small businesses to do just that. This is why the Republican party

>.> I was waiting for the inevitable 'we named it for our favorite player' defense. I know the history of the Cleveland Indians. The chief Wahoo image is painfully racist and I did point out the name is 'meh' in that, even if it is recognizing a Native player it wasn't his preference and it isn't a proper title.

Can we do the same for the Jets?

Upvoted for poignancy.

Oh noes! A mean sportsball fan with irrational hatred is making pointless remarks!

No, Pirates. Sorry I didn't double check if they had 2 or 3. Corrected now.

Yay! #2 for the Cubs! Only 2 behind the Pirates and Reds and 8 behind the Cardinals. At this rate they'll chase us down in…..Never. They'll never chase us down. :P

The Blackhawks like the Seminoles atleast have a respectable position. The Cleveland Indians (name is more or less 'meh' but damn is Chief Wahoo racist) and the Washington Football Team (who's logo is not offensive but their name is) are really the problem. I'm with you on this. :)

To be fair though, the movie was made in 1989-90, they had no idea that the Cubs would win the Pennant and WS just a year off…It's not anything more than coincidence but it's a fun one.

*hugs* I'll be your's. :)

Asylum was all over the place, I agree, but it did manage to wrap up almost every thread with some coherency and it had the most uplifting ending along with Evan Peters just being lovable….

Let's get through Roanoke, ok. Coven is so far the only season I want to rewatch because it was that enjoyable and I still prefer Asylum more (It's just not as rewatchable). That being said, that season I may have to skip on. I haven't watched Murder House and I'm just not interested in those characters.

Go watch it. Seriously, go watch it. They cut it down to 10 episodes and it seems to have maintained steam without issue.

It threw me off completely since I haven't seen Murder House (and never intend to) so I assumed her reporter was the Coven character. Atleast in that one she looked sufficiently different to atleast feel different.

True, he's listed as 'the shape' in the actual credits, he's definitely one of those 'other worldly forces' killers but for the sake of discussion it's clear his intent vs. say the broader sexism we see. He intentionally kills women, everybody else a bystander to the goal.

This is the key difference I would say, as I wholly agree with you, everything referenced here is sexism. It's based on predisposed beliefs about gender and society. Michael Myers murdering his sisters/people he perceived to be his sister (depending on what movie you're in) is misogyny. He hates women (or more

Bell is undisputably the best RB in all of the NFL except he doesn't know when to stop smoking pot. He'll have an entire lifetime of brain-damaged enjoyment after this, just not today!
