You know what? Even if it were pushing a woke agenda, I'd be fine with that. We have had enough machism, jingoism, chauvinism and racism in our games.
Tonberry is in a FF game?
They’re also on a tighter timeline, having to get things actually recorded and whatnot ahead of time. So I would imagine it’s almost impossible to really note those segments to death.
I would love to see a return to the Police Squad! version of Drebin rather than the Naked Gun version. The show was drier and delivered much straighter, like Airplane!. I enjoyed the Naked Gun films a lot, don’t get me wrong, it’s just that they went kind of broad with the comedy in a way that felt like a step down.
We all know the solution is capping corporate profits, and requiring higher wages, but we won’t do that because of our slavish devotion to a single economic paradigm instead of a flexible sustainable multi-paradigm approach to the economy. This is what happens when legislators only have to listen to one segment,…

“Shots in ‘space’ will simply be shot at night with no lighting.”
It’s by far the most fascinating and frightening aspect of generative AI. It has the potential—which it’s already beginning to realize, under our noses—of gutting entire industries and wreaking untold economic havoc. I’m concerned too about the effect it will have on art, and artists. But more broadly, it could create…

I am seeing it start to impact all sorts of industries, including my own.
Ahh ok definitely not for me then.
That looks like a milk shake or something though.
Well, I mean he’s an interesting choice for Tony Tony Chopper, but I’m sure he’ll kill it.
This isn’t Kotaku’s fault. The song was written and performed by C+C Music Factory with Martha Wash (half of the Weather Girls, aka, “It’s Raining Men”) as uncredited vocals on that song (also a bit of irony considering this clip).
No. It’s C&C Music Factory’s song, because they didn’t credit someone how they should or whatever, doesn’t mean it’s not their song. They performed music for years before and after.
Most games aren’t as good as Silent Hill 2. By that logic, why ever buy a game?
Agreed, and it was still only about 30 seconds of actual combat in the trailer. Combat was definitely the worst part of the original, at best it was boring, often frustrating, like eating a plain peanut butter sandwich with nothing to drink and it kind of gets stuck in your throat and you can’t breath for a sec and…
