The BF has gone into a Succession hole, so natch, I’ve been dragged along.

I want to see a “Christmas romance with incognito royalty” movie where both parties are incognito royalty, and when each one finds out the other one was lying to them, they start a war that kills millions.

This will always remind me about ‘Boots’ Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness. Where the rich person can afford a good pair of boots ($50) that will last for many years whereas the person can only afford to buy an okay pair of boots that still gets wet ($10) and last maybe a season or two.

Honestly, your assessment of that show is absolutely competente enough, as far as I can tell.
But then again, maybe I’m biased by having the same opinion so... xD

Costner (and most of his family, with the exception of his daughter) absolutely sees himself as the good guy. The ability to privately maintain a more than half-million acre ranch is winding down, in no small part due to ever-increasing property taxes as the areas around it are developed (an actual real-life problem

Counter suggestion: let people enjoy things.

I keep thinking I need to watch this show. Mostly just because it’s filmed in the area where I live in Utah. They’ve even filmed stuff in my town.

I don’t know that there are any good guys. Everybody has a little dirt on their hands.

I watch the show with my wife. Costner is clearly not the good guy. There are no real good guys. Just bad and worse guys. I would say the tribe leader is probably the least offensive.

if costner is the bad guy, is dane cook the good guy?

Oh…this is one of THOSE shows?

Yeah I’m not sure either. The morality is very questionable but it’s consistent with Costner’s wackadoo sensibility going back to Waterworld and The Postman. Also I was watching the premiere and thought “wow this Ram truck ad is going on forever” then realized the commercial break was over a minute ago. It’s that kind

This may have felt like ‘rambling’ when you were writing it, but it makes perfect sense to me. Kudos.

I feel a lot of people on the pro-choice side don’t understand there are a sick amount of people who think those dead clowns got what they deserve. How do you reason with a group that would rather see you dead?

And the oddest part of this is, they have proven time and again, incident after incident, that they are in fact 100% fine with people walking up to children and shooting them in the head.

Did he, by any chance, begin these calls with, “Hey, Jerky”?

The hardcore dogmatists are a minority. The danger they pose (aside from the occasional act of murder/terrorism) is their influence over intellectually passive people whose opinions could tip either way but ultimately incline toward conforming to the attitudes of family, friends, and neighbors who generally have their

I made it to the opening titles of the pilot “La Brea” and decided to give it up. It was that bad.

What if I told you that there were an infinite number of universes, all of them only one step removed from the core universe we all know in an alignment that maximizes IP recognition while providing optimal vertical integration of the Marvel™ entertainment media project stack

This is why I’m a Vive owner.  I don’t need Mark Zuckerberg telling me whether or not I can punch kids.
