A lot of those jobs aren’t going to come back.

Then the people using it are using it incorrectly.

There was a more recent game that was pretty decent - voice acting from the main cast (less said about Murray’s the better), story by Aykroyd, Ramis and others etc.

Totally drunk. Drunk asshole drunk assholed, got thrown off plane for drunk assholing. “Mask wearing” was simply the excuse.

I don’t have access to the contracts involved nor the expertise to really pull them apart, but I can’t believe that the creative individuals involved would put pen to paper without nailing down residuals and rerun issues. I doubt ‘will people watch it’ is as much a concern as ‘do you have enough that we can fill

Been trying to find a local theater still running Dune 2. Suggested “Frozen Empire” as a joke.

This was my first reaction.

Moreso given one of the few consistent stories that come out of pretty much all the Marvel projects is that they’re more or less ‘made’ in reshoots - it’s cited repeatedly as why the TV projects have had trouble gaining traction/coherency.

I’m... not really getting a welcoming vibe here.

“That’s what we believe and we’re going to pilot it.”

Just watched it. I wouldn’t put The Marvels at the best of the MCU, but it handled the multiple character dance MUCH more coherently than, say, Wakanda Forever. The biggest actual complaint backed by more than just “Elon told me woke sucks” is that they essentially shoehorned in the Flerkin ex Machina storyline in a

I’m with you. I finally just had to accept that there are people in this country for whom the actions of the “Royals” are more important than almost any other thing in their life.

She also had Deadpool - her character survived the movie, and she likely would have at some point at least been brought back in a supporting character role.

It’s hard to find ‘victims’ of supposed left wing cancel culture. Rosanne Barr? Kevin Spacey? Mel Gibson? All still able to find gigs, though occasionally really crappy ones because they just don’t draw and weren’t before they went nuts.

It’s more than that.
