Like I said, I think it’d be fascinating. I’m a fan of the behind the scenes stuff, so that apparently is tempering my view.

That’s kind of how I view all of the weekly shots. Some of the hosts were good, had the rhythm and pacing down, seemed like they could hold the job regardless of whether it was on Daily or not.
The impression that Amell gave - and unfortunately a potential impression that could be read from your post - is that in his world the strike happened without any other attempts at resolution.
There were some good moments with the “correspondents” behind the desk - I don’t think any of them would be a BAD choice. I’m just hoping we get to see the rest of the Dulce Sloan week as well as anyone else that got bumped by the strike. It was interesting watching people rise to the challenge - or not.
“Rent-a-Kid-for-Costco; comes complete with sanitized food safe sack tucked into their shirt for maximum sample storage”
I’m all for advertising being a more strictly regulated form of speech than it is currently treated. I, for one, am all for the across the board banning and prosecution of the producers of the “talk to your doctor about...” commercials.
It’s part of that process from the interviews I saw - they’re given limited access to what they will need for that shoot. I’d assume that it would include “In this scene you are walking along a freeway in the heart of downtown LA surveying a battle with many casualties. Your assistant was just killed in front of you.”…
They have weird market awareness in the theme park/coaster fan community FWIW. I’ve known about them for years and they’re definitely on my list when I get to that area of the country. Most of my coaster fan friends have at least heard of them.
Huh. I’ve read/seen a few interviews with the people playing the parts where they talk about getting limited secured access to tablets with just their part of the script and what they needed to know for the scene on it. I’d assume the director has input, but they’ve gone into detail about getting information like that…
And yet no riots over Small World playing carols over the same time.
It’s on my list with Kennywood and a few others. The pictures I’ve seen show them using the landscape and landscaping on the coasters to pretty stunning effect.
Amateur. Pro level is shoving your kids in front with you and all of you just chow down as fast as the samples hit the tray.
I’d actually kinda love to have access to the story/character sheets. My guess is they’re divided in sections, stuff like “You need to know this for your part” vs “Stuff you want to know if you need your motivations/back story” and “Stuff that doesn’t necessarily relate on the surface but trust us, you’ll want to know…
Sadly I’ve read too many of these over the years.
Given the standard of what’s acceptable in pretty much literally every other fast food commercial (and advertising campaigns that have faced and won similar suits), it’s within reason. It’s not necessarily a GOOD thing, but it’s what the conditions are.
Aww, what, sad that I didn’t roll over when you decided to troll?
This may help?
You seem pretty invested in defending idiots that can’t tell the difference between a commercial and reality. It’s pretty weird, man.
Then get a law passed stating that. Add some enforcement mechanisms.
There’s an argument to be made for banning advertising. That isn’t what this story is about.
