I’d add “i used to” to that. When the guitar solo kicks in it just fucking rips.

That’s great, but I don’t think Roberts is even remotely likely to find that way. Too worried about the legitimacy of the court. Hell, you might not find Alito or Thomas too crazy about it either.

Guys, I know this is going to sound crazy, but “Oh Baby” has gotta be my favorite LCD song. Yes more than “Dance Yrself Clean” and “All My Friends” and “Losing my Edge.

I just can’t wrap my mind around why they didn’t pull the nomination. There have to be a dozen other conservative orcs that could have breezed through this process, and they’re dying on this hill, why? To own the libs?

The progressively harmful thing was introduced as a raising of the stakes, but almost immediately forgotten about.

As a philosophical exercise eternal recursion is a fascinating concept and could and has made for pretty great movies, but it makes for a dull as dirt horror movie.

I thought the very concept robs the movie of all tension, which is necessary for a horror movie. It’s also hamstrung by being PG-13, because super gory kills could have made the concept worthwhile, but as it is it’s just kind of a flavorless mush.

It’s fine, but that’s about it.

It’s almost like they’re everywhere, at every level of society!

I would be mad if you counted a queen as a possible. Queen’s only a possible if everybody is long in hearts. Or you’re long in spades and can pull everyone else’s.

This and “Oh look, it’s raining again” are my two favorite Simpsons jokes.

A) When I quoted the article it said Jane. That would be a weird mistake to make when I took the time to quote the article, as those two name aren’t even remotely similar.

B) According to the Social Security Administration, Khaleesi was, in fact, a more popular baby name for girls in 2017. However, if you add the

“Today it’s gone far beyond that: “Khaleesi” is a more popular name for baby girls in 2018 than ‘Jane.’”

Hey, everybody saying America did this A) to beat the Reds and B) because the moon was there: you’re only half right.

NASA was doing rocket science during the start of the Cold War. Sure, JFK wanted to get to the Moon, because if you can get three guys to the moon, you sure as shit can get 20 kilotons to Moscow.

What I really learned from those vides is that Victor Rojas is terrible and needs to stop.

Find someone that looks at you the way Keanu does Winona.

Yes, ethically, none of the people who post this to Instagram are getting into The Good Place.

No, I don’t give a fuck. Good for them.

There is no way Funny Games belongs on this list, and I say that as a big Haneke fan. It’s too didactic, preachy, and contemptuous. I know it came out 7 years later, but A History of Violence does everything Funny Games is trying to do re: implicating the audience in the on-screen bloodshed while having the benefit of

This was my sophomore year in high school. 1978 felt like an impossibly long time ago in 1998, and now, 20 years later, 1998 feels like yesterday.

Fuck aging and the human condition, is what I’m saying.

Can we talk for a second about how amazing her version of “The Weight” is? I know The Band wrote it, in my mind she owns that like she owns “Respect”.

RIP Aretha.

Here are some numbers that make me hopeful.

In 2014, Nathan Deal beat Jason Carter by 200,000 votes, taking 53% to Carter’s 45%. African Americans voted in line with their historical frequency, about 22% of the electorate, or roughly 560k voters.

However, African Americans make up 30.5% of GA’s total population. If

I want to be clear, I love “Scenes...” and the entire Stranger album in spite of Billy. Usually, Joel’s lyrics and instincts are so fucking corny that I have a hard time enjoying his music even if the melodies are good and the musicianship is on point. But on The Stranger the band is so fucking hot that it overwhelms
