The moment from Cap catching the hammer then to him calling the lightning then to him tightening his shield for what he thinks is the last time to “Cap, it’s Sam” to “On Your Left” to T’Challa giving Steve the nod to Falcon soaring in to Starlord and Spidey doing the one-two comeback to Bucky and Groot walking in to…

I remember a while back on twitter there were a lot of people talking about how that footage from the theater was super cringey and I was like...okay, liking stuff and enjoying things together is bad, got it.

That scene was an instant classic. I saw the movie on a Friday morning, in a packed but still quiet theater, and when Silvestri’s ‘Portals’ music began, the joy in that theater was palpable. I saw a lot of strangers crying during that scene.

Um, why is THAT a bad thing?

At this point all I want is Runaways to come back and a MCU kids show with power pack. Look me dead in the eyes and say power pack wouldn’t be PERFECT for a “babys first mcu” type show

To me that was the absolute perfect film embodiment of a two page splash panel right at the climax of a comic.

Not gonna lie, I was teary eyed from the Portals scene on. Wakanda Forever is probably the best possible title they could’ve given that movie given the circumstances. “The Marvels” with Captain Marvel’s font, Spectrum’s logo, and Ms. Marvels’ “S” is fantastic. And of course “4.”

The whole Portals scene from Endgame will basically always be a cheap pop for me that brings tears to my eyes every time for the rest of my life.

Charles is really one of the best writers on any of these GMG sites. Even when I disagree with him, he always presents his points clearly and thoughtfully.

Yeah. To me, it felt like the biggest problem with the series (besides Karli’s plot missing... a lot) was that it never answered the question got posed by Episode 5.
