We won't know the answer to the cinematic continuity question until Superman vs. Batman gets released in 2016. That's ultimately a Warner Bros Studios question to answer so we won't be learning that from Kreisberg, Guggenheim, Berlanti and Johns.

Absolutely! The show works on 2 levels: For the comic book fans, it's an interesting and fantastic take on a character they're familiar with. For the non-comic book fans, it's a very well done action/adventure/drama series that's easy to get hooked on. Prior to the show my only familiarity with Green Arrow was his…
You and me both!
It's ABC; they don't let shows get canceled right away and often give under performing shows a second season to get themselves sorted. Also, given how much effort they've put into promoting AoS I think they're willing to give it a chance to improve and bring in better ratings.
There was an interview last year with Guggenheim having The Question on his wish list for a possible future Arrow episode.

Agreed. Because of how he's been developed so far he's the most interesting character to watch on the show. Russell's also another character who stands out. Stephen, not so much.
Yep, that's what I've been thinking too ever since the casting descriptions for the Wests were leaked last month. I like that they're casting the best people for the role and shaking things up a little in the process.
Yep, the Blade Runner umbrella was a nice touch and so was the episode where Dorian busts through a wall to take down a bad guy ala Robocop.
That's a pretty good hunch. We know that Redford's character is addressing Bucky in The Winter Soldier trailer and not Cap so I have to wonder what kind of tech will be used to reprogram him when he's recovered from the icy water.
For an alternate view of RR firing his guns, there's this trailer made from the first 12 days of shooting on GotG and because of that it's the reason Marvel will never officially release it.

It is the next one shot. I think all the Loki talk is just speculation or misdirection to make us forget that Kingsley just finished additional work for Marvel Studios. The one shots almost never correspond directly to the films they're included with, Item 47 and The Avengers being an exception, and usually reference…
He is. Even when heroes and villains wear masks they need the eyeliner to help sell the look.
Somehow *that* version of the script got greenlighted and it's a shame because all of the elements for it to be wonderful where there. Remember that awesome WonderCon trailer? *That* is what I wanted us to get and it wasn't what we hoped for.
Agreed. It's why "Demon in a Bottle" was totally glossed over in Iron Man 2. The studio knows they can't use it so they just had Tony drinking excessively because of the palladium poisoning him.
You're welcome! Yep, The Mary Sue has some great stuff on there. Between their site, this one, Nerd Bastards.com, and Uproxx my recapping needs are met. :-)
Yes, that was Linda Park doing the broadcast outside of the STAR Labs Particle Accelerator so I guess this means she'll be part of the Flash series if it gets greenlighted and/or we'll see Wally West at some point because she is there.
Honestly? Go back to where you left off and be patient. Otherwise I'd suggest episode 5, episodes 7-8, or episode 9 which is the mid-season finale with Ollie facing someone he cannot beat in a fight. Episode 14 is *HUGE*, and one of the best that the show has ever done, but it would be helpful to see the episodes…
You're not the first to mention Bricken as Arrow recapper and I actually wrote to io9 back in February to ask if it was possible for him to review the show instead of Esther.
Bear in mind we've only seen 1 year of the island with Ollie, Slade and Shado together. There are still 4, well, 3.5 years now, of island story time to go over and reveal. I'm sure a lot more happened on Lian Yu and that will probably explain in more detail and flesh out Slade's planned punishment for Oliver.
That's my guess too. They'll shoot stuff for the pilot, mention his out of town trip, and then come back to the scene from Arrow which will no doubt be expanded upon.
