Agreed! Beast Wars was the perfect series and it tied in SO DAMN WELL with the Generation 1 story lines from the 80's along with making everything else just that much better.

Totally disagree. I'm counting on those to tie into the current events of each episode and/or show how Ollie continues to transform himself. At some point they still need to explain how Ollie became proficient at so many fighting styles plus becoming fluent in Mandarin and Russian. I'm guessing the latter involves…

I agree. Maybe I'm too much of a genre fanboy but I go into this show expecting nothing and continue to be pleased with how it's progressing. I think Esther approaches it for comedy and snark material and that just puts me off.

Yep, loved that! That was the first time I'd heard of the Speed Force as I didn't grow up with the DC characters. Only recently (2010-ish) have I started to rectify that by purchasing some of the DC trade paperbacks. Michael Rosenbaum was FANTASTIC as Wally West!
