Not true, walk thru the FBO terminal and onto the ramp. Once you are on the ramp you can walk right on to your plane. People do it every single day.
The only time I've ever flown private I didn't go through any security. In fact, I walked right on the plane carrying a gun bag with my 30-06 and a 1911. And this was from a pretty big private airport in a major US city. Are you really supposed to go through security for private flights?
