I'm 22 as well.. One of the main reasons I went for a Ford Fusion was that when I first got my license at 16 gas was something like $4/gallon. When I was 20 and shopping for a car this is what I thought about. I wasn't about to buy a Nissan X-Terra, with a starting salary I wouldn't be able to afford the gas.

Great article! I live in Buffalo, NY as of this year and grew up/went to college a little south of here. This is how I've survived the last 8 years of driving. Never have I used snow tires and I'm currently driving a FWD Ford Fusion.
