It confused me because "eating hot sauce channel" was literally as skit on Conan back in the day.

I realized "Cold Feet" also started in 1997. Although the actual show apparently didn't start until late '98.
It probably doesn't mean anything to anyone outside of Britain/Europe, but for me it's also one of those quintessential 90s shows that will always make me feel nostalgic.

The reason I liked Buffy was because it was so silly. I'd seen the title in the tv guide but didn't give it a second thought. Then it got mentioned on the Tonight show one day, so I decided to check out what it was all about.

I've seen this film, You're not that far off actually

What scene was it?

The best movie of 1997 was 'Bean: The ultimate disaster movie" and I won't have anyone say otherwise!

Why is that? On the rare occasions I try to read music reviews because I want an informed opinion on something, I usually end up thinking of Jack Black in High Fidelity. Sneering at someone for wanting to buy a Stevie Wonder record.

I'm still bummed out that I didn't get to see these in theatres, even if they were the special editions. They came out just when my parents took me on a long family vacation, where there wasn't really any time to go to the movies, and where we were cut off from most media to begin with.
By the time I was back they had

It was him ↓ lets get him fellas.

Nay

All opposed?
"Nay"

I also went to a christian high school. One night during a school camp week we had movie night. They chose to show us 'Wild Things'. I think the guy who was in charge that night was also our religious studies teacher.

I'd rather see something new with maybe just a couple of the people of the group, if that means they can actually use them for a more meaningful amount of time.
There are only so many naptime and dj ski mask jokes you can make before the scheduling problems just become a sad running joke.

The premise of the article is flawed. It acknowledges that the tv division is a seperate thing from the movie company but it still treats it as if it's all run by the same people.
The narrative that Marvel can't acknowledge failures because they've had so much success with the movies would make sense if it was Kevin

Do we really consider R.Kelly's 'Gotham city' to be terrific, though?

Here in Europe movies sometimes wouldn't even come out until months after the US premiere, back then. Sometimes it would take up to a year (Aladdin for instance, came out in November '93)
This did slowly change throughout the 90s and Men in Black and Batman and Robin did come out that summer.

Kate WInslet's tits more likely.

My experience with reunions (both real life and tv ones) is that they're hard to pull off. Even the rare successful ones where everyone is present and able to recapture the magic of the past, usually don't achieve the same effect in a further outings.

Oof, Very Bad Things… I remember seeing that once on tv as a teenager and feeling horrible after watching it. I don't think I'd seen a comedy like that before. There's dark comedy and then there's "I need to take a shower" level of cynicism.

Yeah, it's one of those late 80s/early 90s thrillers that seem to be a specific kind of sleazy. He meets a gruesome demise as is typical in those types of films. So I guess all is well in the end!
