@LeadfootYT: I don't know for sure, but since one engine is in the front and one in the back it would be... interesting if each powered one side. It would also suck more if one died/was turned off for efficiency, eliminating one of the benefits of having two in the first place.

When I read "When Apple didn't know about the WiFi issues in the GM seed of iOS 4.2" I thought they it was some weird metaphor about genetically engineered crops...

I remember my dad (I think) trying to explain how a manual transmission worked. In his explanation somehow the clutch took the place of neutral, and there wasn't any mention of the actual function of the clutch.

@LeadfootYT: That's what I was going to say... You left out the two engines part, though.

it comprises two transmission structures

Woo, one of those was me!

@FodderTheSane: But it wasn't when it made the DC-10... I don't think Boeing needs to be held responsible for their acquisition's past failures.

@FodderTheSane: Umm... that's a boeing-sympathetic pilot joke, I guess?

You know, I think if a pilot wanted to do something malicious to a plane, there might be an easier way for them to do it than by hiding explosives around their junk...

Is it just me, or does he look a lot like Nathan Fillion?

"It just got really dusty in here"...? WTF is that supposed to mean?

@wannahakkalooki: Also, there's no apparent decrease in bird density in front of the plane, which you would expect if half of the birds were on the other side.

I wonder what kind of lens he used to get that?

@DORIFTOSpowr1001: It's too bad giz doesn't have a Comment of the Day like Jalopnik...

"the bezel is composed of two separate", or "the bezel comprises two separate."

My 3-year-old daughter (safely in the back, in a Recaro kids seat) said she prefers my A3 to my wife's Mazda5 since "it's faster and has a bigger engine." I don't think she knows about turbos, though.

@jalopnikfan: How had I never heard of the .int TLD before?

@rick23: I was under the impression that periods and exclamation points were always supposed to go outside the quotes...

@ps61318: That was mentioned in (I think) "The Source" by James Michener.
