Girls are generally more socially intelligent at an earlier age, and also aren't conditioned to do these things. In every movie it's the "boy" who performs the romantic gesture, which is where all the stupid boys get the idea in the first place.

Young guys still don't know boundaries or the difference between "romantic" and "creepy." Do something romantic for someone for whom it is appropriate and it'll usually be met well. Do any grand romantic gesture for a stranger and... well, write into Drew.

YES. Standard def on a standard def TV is obviously a step back but still kind of works. Standard def on an HDTV is like ... watching TV without my glasses on.
