No, Audi. I do not want this.

It’s OK, I guess. It looks.... like a C-class. Or S-class. Which is what I expected, but still, I’m just so... underwhelmed. It’s not a bad design; maybe it’ll grow on me. But the E-class styling has always been just a bit unique among the Benz sedan lineup. At first glance, this looks like another case of same…
That dash-to-axle ratio...
I’d rather they not.
One of my favorites, such a good song!
In my opinion, those early SN-95s are looking pretty dated, while the New Edge has aged rather well and still looks great to me. I’m biased, though, since I have one in my driveway (not pictured, but I sure love that color.)
SEXY hips. And some very RWD proportions.
Most 3-Series’s come with eight-speed automatics as standard, though the 320i, 328i, and 340i can be had with a six-speed stick for no additional charge.
Get this shit off Jalopnik
Boxy, upright, squared off. Stick to that and I might be interested.
But it looks freaking weird... I like the old ones better.
Can it tell them to put the fucking smartphones down and look both ways before crossing the street?
The platform, which Ford calls D6, will be used in Lincoln sedans and crossovers beginning in 2019. First on the docket to receive D6 is a midsize sedan that could replace the MKZ, as well as a seven-passenger crossover that may replace the MKT. The flexible platform will reportedly be able to accommodate front, rear,…
Yes, the D6 platform! It can’t come soon enough for Lincoln. I was hoping the new Continental would be on it, but then came word that it won’t be ready until 2019. I think it will be a game changer for the brand.
Generally speaking, I like it. The new front end alleviates the bulbous baleen whale look that so many Lincolns suffered from, so it’s an improvement in my book. I do wish they would ditch that stupid Kia-ish buck tooth piece below where the Lincoln emblem sits in the grille. That’s really the only thing I don’t like…
Only because of that stupid buck tooth thing below where the Lincoln emblem goes. I wish they’d get rid of that. It’s the only thing I don’t like about the new Continental (besides the FWD platform).
What the hell is Ford going to do if this still refuses to sell?
Why no manuals with the GMEs?
Don’t care, it’s still attempting to solve a problem that doesn’t exist. Pressure sensitivity and haptic feedback and sounds... are we serious? I don’t need or want any of that shit. How does it do anything better than a plain old button that I can feel out without having to worry if I’m hitting the right one or…
Tyler, this is a great read and incredible story. One of your best pieces yet.
