Serious question: is it technologically possible to pair this hybrid drivetrain with a manual transmission? Is this the death of the manual M3?

They found it. It crashed into a mountain.
I know it’s already too late, but #COTD because this is so, so true.
I’ve always thought the Cadillac SRX’s proportions are just terrible. Honorable mention to all the “luxury” cars Lincoln has tried to build on a FWD Taurus or Fusion platform. That dash-to-axle ratio says it all.
According to Wikipedia, it is. Apparently it’s the G55 “extralong,” it's fuckin awesome, and more than one exists. I can find very little out there on them. You should do a story about it.
I honestly don’t understand why they only make the manual available with the 4-cylinder and on the lowest trims. Who buys 2wd base model pickups? Fleets. And fleets buy automatics. Whereas the truck enthusiast, who really wants that manual and is probably willing to drop some coin on the truck, probably also wants…
That looks damn good! I love the clean, sweeping dash and all the beautiful stitched leather. And most importantly, the manual! I do hope they have some nice open pore wood trim options, as I am not a big fan of carbon fiber trim (or “aluminum” for that matter). But that's a beautiful interior. Nice job, Alfa!
Keep the Town Cars. Given the low cost and wide availability of parts, it's probably more economical to give the engine a tune-up, replace the worn out suspension, re-upholster the interior, give the whole car a nice detail and drive it for another 400,000 miles, or until Lincoln builds another long wheelbase RWD…
Transmission: automatic
does anyone know yet what the default torque split will be?
I’m a big fan of the GLK’s boxy styling, but I have to admit I think this thing looks good. Interior looks fantastic, save for the iPad stuck on the dash.
